Notes from Clients:

*”Since January, Jan Schwartz has been working with the East Central Building and Construction Trades Council to investigate lack of enforcement in the prevailing wage law.

Schwartz is President of Forensic Fraud Research, Inc., a non-profit entity that investigates allegations of corruption and injustices…She is interested in rebuilding society and empowering others to “do the right thing.” Her work with us involved researching and investigating whether the prevailing wage law was being enforced.

On June ____, she testified before the Senate Insurance, Commerce and Labor committee in opposition to SB 114.  The hearing room was filled beyond capacity and completely silent as this bright, courageous woman presented her testimony.  I witnessed her compelling testimony.

I also witnessed the chairman’s demanding to know the name of the Principal Attorney with Labor Relations Section of the Attorney General’s Office who responded with “What does the truth have to do with it?” when Schwartz asked to meet with him to ascertain his version of the truth as it deals with enforcement of the prevailing wage law.  I was among the long line of men and women who enthusiastically shook her hand as we left the room.

The reporter who wrote the article I am responding to knew the rest of the story but chose to keep the article vague.  She was provided with a copy of the letter Schwartz wrote to the committee chairman, which stated the name of the individuals and other specifics.

Jan Schwartz is our Erin Brockovich.  We are happy with the investigating she has done for us.  She has innovative ideas on school funding, property taxes and other issues affecting Stark County and its citizens.”

*“In her quest to follow her calling, there have been times when Jan Schwartz found herself being intentionally forced off the road.  Her tires have been punctured, her telephone tapped, her mail intercepted.  Undaunted, Schwartz dedicates herself to forensic fraud research, risking her own safety to eliminate white-collar-organized crime.Working with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S, Department of Health and Human Services, the FBI, and several other agencies, Schwartz has become a renowned and respected crimebuster of corporate corruption.

*“Dr. Jan Schwartz has brought new meaning to the story “Beauty and the Beast.”   For the past…years the attractive…former teacher and local psychologist, has been the beauty; the beast – white collar corruption.  Although she doesn’t resemble the typical crime buster or as she puts it “corruption broker…” She is dead serious about furthering her mission to effect social change through promoting truth and fairness.  “My reward is when others become encouraged to join in the effort to raise the standard of our society”…She describes success in her work as an emotional moment, seeing people’s hearts soften and finally doing the right thing.”  Asked about personal safety concerns, Schwartz acknowledged attending classes in martial arts…she says she has “transcended feelings of fear…and replaced fearfulness with conviction.”  Experience has taught her that. “Even organized crime honors good work, as long as they see a person is genuine, sincere and not greedy for power.”  She claims her husband Dr. Richard Schwartz handles concerns about his wife’s safety by a strong belief that her “loving heart” will prevail and that her faith will protect her.”

*“Dear Dr. Jan,

I would like to express my gratitude for your ongoing encouragement, this is the proposal for the two months Piloting program funded by USAID against extremism.  Rescue Me our NGO will start hopefully on the 29th of September.

The target will be 40 beneficiaries aged between 16 and 20.  30% will be females.  All located in an area full of gambling, gangs, drugs, prostitution and some are going to a specifically to join armed groups.

Every Tuesday and Thursday they will be given aggression replacement training a cybercrime awareness.

Every Saturday they will have social media and graffiti.  NB:  graffiti was not my choice, but the funder wanted to do community work and I was forced to say yes.

People who will implement the project in two classes each contain 20 beneficiaries:

  1. Each class will have one social worker and one clinical psychologist.
  2. Each class will have one volunteer.
  3. I will do for the 40 an administrative question I wanted to do PTSD check list to measure the Trauma (if there any suggestion for a better checklist let me know). And will put all the results on SPSS program for statistics. Another checklist will be given for the beneficiary which is self-awareness of the aggression replacement training.  I hope I gave you a clear idea about the project looking forward for any advice you give now.”

*“Dear Jan,

I just wanted to thank you again for the time you spent talking to Amy…I’ve been checking into finding a therapist but haven’t seen anyone yet.  I only hope that whoever we find can reach Amy the way you did.  She trusted you enough to say some things that must have hurt her.  Even though I haven’t met you personally, our talk on the phone made me understand how Amy felt so comfortable with you.”

Fondly,

*“Dear Jan,

Hope this email finds you well.

I want to tell you that your book has been received successfully and I showed it to all my colleagues and sisters.  They were so impressive.  The story was so emotional, and we did learn a lot from it.

Furthermore, of course we will contact each other about the center and because I am on leave for a few weeks I will send you in the near future a brief information about it.

Still we didn’t choose a cordial name and perfect logo for the centre, but currently we named it as assault referral centre “ARC.”

Moreover, I went through the website and I do need your help in establishing primary assessment of the psychological status of any abuse victim weather in a child or an adult, any suggestion?

Thanks for your time, and I am really excited to share your ideas in the near future.”

*“Dear Dr. Schwartz,

Kingdom Greetings and Warm Blessings to you and your family!

I have always been an admirer of yours since we first were introduced to each other.  You have a beautiful character and pleasant disposition, combined with a determination to always fall on the right side for people who need an advocate…

One of the many things that I admire about you is your passion for truth and justice for all people.  Your demeanor has always been positive, and you have the uncanny ability to see through the bureaucratic fog that is sometimes manufactured by others who have only a personal agenda, and not what is good and decent for our cities and our nation.  Your accomplishments are outstanding, and your business mind is impeccable.  You have the gift to reach inner and outer city residents which shows your ability to have the skills to galvanize people.

It appears that many people know your character and disposition, but also respect you as a highly qualified person who can effect necessary change that is certainly needed.

I have always respected you and believed you only wanted what is best for the people that you serve.  And servanthood is the foundation of genuine leadership.”

Many blessings,

*“To Whom It May Concern:

I am…proud of the work Dr. Schwartz does in the research of forensic fraud.  As prosecutor, I applaud her efforts in that area.  I have had the opportunity to discuss her work in detail.  I have also read numerous publications that Dr. Schwartz has written.  In addition to her high moral character, she has the knowledge and skills in the forensic fraud area that make her a leader in that field of study.”

Very truly yours,
